What this notice does
Use the rows on the right to move through the policy. Each row matches one part of the full text below, so you can check a single topic or read straight through.
Section 01 — Definition
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on a visitor device by a website to remember state or preferences for operation and measurement. When you return to the same site, the browser sends those small files back so the page can pick up where you left off.
Some cookies are set for a single session and removed when the browser closes. They keep a form from losing what you typed, or keep you on the same page version while you click through our Singapore flower gardens notes and Singapore gardens itinerary suggestions.
Others persist for a defined period to remember settings, such as a display choice you picked earlier. This site uses only limited, operational categories described below and does not operate advertising profiles. We do not build cross-site histories, and we do not track you across other websites.
Section 02 — On this site
Types used on this site
Three narrow categories may appear while you browse thepetaljourney.com. Nothing here sells attraction entry, so there are no ticket-sale or checkout cookies.
Necessary
Strictly necessary cookies
These support form submission, security checks and basic load operation. Without them, pages may not navigate correctly and the contact form may not send. They are set because the page needs them to work, not for marketing.
Preference
Preference cookies where offered
These remember language or display choices where the site offers them, so you do not reselect the same option on every page. They hold simple settings only — for example how you viewed our Floral Fantasy Singapore or Supertree Grove Singapore walk notes.
Measurement
Limited aggregated counts
Where analytics are enabled, they are limited to aggregated page-use counts without cross-site tracking identifiers. We look at totals — which guide pages are read, which need repair — not at individual visitors.
The site does not use ticket-sale or checkout cookies because it does not sell attraction tickets. If you later buy entry on an official seller site for the Singapore Flower Dome, Cloud Forest Singapore or Supertree Observatory Singapore, that purchase is handled entirely there.
Section 03 — Why we use them
Purposes
Necessary cookies support page navigation, form handling and protection against misuse. They keep requests in the right order, help spot repeated automated submissions, and let the contact page confirm that your message was received.
Preference cookies reduce repeated selections during a visit. If you set a viewing choice while comparing our Cloud Forest Singapore waterfall notes with the Supertree light show Singapore evening notes, the site remembers it while you move between pages.
Aggregated measurement, if enabled, helps identify faulty pages or unclear content — for example a Gardens Singapore map explanation that visitors re-read, or a Singapore gardens itinerary page with a broken link. We use summarized totals to fix those pages.
No cookie on this site grants attraction entry or stores ticket QR codes on behalf of the visitor. Ticket purchases made on official seller sites are governed by those sites' own cookie notices, not by this page.
Section 04 — Leaving this site
Third-party content
Pages may include basic links to official attraction information, maps or contact channels — for instance the official Gardens site, public transport pages, or our own contact page. Following those links loads third-party sites that may set their own cookies under their own policies.
Embedded content, if any, is limited and does not include ticket-checkout widgets operated by this site. We do not place booking frames or payment boxes on these pages. Visitors should review the cookie notices of external sites before interacting with them, especially before entering payment or personal details.
To learn how our own walks work without ticket sales, read How Guiding Works — No Ticket Sales or browse the Itinerary and Map Planning notes.
Section 05 — How long they last
Duration and storage
Session cookies expire when the browser session ends. Close the browser and they are removed — nothing to clear by hand.
Preference cookies, where used, expire after a defined period generally not exceeding 12 months. If you clear site data in your browser, they disappear earlier and the site simply asks for your choice again.
Aggregated measurement data, if collected, is retained in summarized form for site maintenance — totals and error patterns rather than visit histories. Exact durations may vary by browser behavior and user settings that clear storage earlier.
Section 06 — Your choice
User controls
No account on this site is required to adjust these controls. Every common browser includes the same basic switches.
Block, restrict or delete
Visitors can control cookies through browser settings to block, restrict or delete stored files. Look under Settings, then Privacy or Cookies, and choose whether sites may store data, may store it only for the session, or must ask first.
What breaks if you block everything
Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent form submission or display functions. The contact form may not confirm delivery, and pages about the Giant Waterfall Singapore or Indoor Waterfall Singapore viewpoints may lose layout settings. Reading the guides still works; interactive parts may not.
Where to find the switch
Guidance is available in the help sections of common browsers under cookie or privacy settings. Search your browser help for “cookies” or “site data” and follow the steps for your device. Changes apply immediately and can be reversed the same way.
Section 07 — Updates
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in site functions — for example if we add a display option that needs a new preference cookie, or remove a measurement tool we no longer use. The version published on this page applies from the date of publication, shown at the top as 13 September 2026.
Material changes to categories used will be reflected here with an updated description. Continued use of the site after publication indicates acknowledgment of the stated cookie use. For the wider rules of the service, see the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.
Section 08 — Contact
